Chef Mark and his team at Zelma Lacey tested our new promotion “The Summer Picnic”! A twist on the traditional turkey dinner with some fun summer favorites. Today the team set-up a Hydration Station with fresh squeezed lemonade & sweet tea, lemon rosemary turkey w/creamy red bliss potato salad, zesty pasta salad w/grilled vegetables, watermelon tossed with basil & honey, roasted green beans, cranberry chutney, buttermilk biscuits & honey maple corn bread and specialty desserts of peach & raspberry cobbler shooters. The usual white linens were replaced with classic red & white checkered clothes, a nice touch to set the atmosphere for the residents. Great job by the team!

We made some special wraps for our clients with our creative ingredients. Our Mediterranean wrap that consists of fresh marinated vegetables that are grilled, chilled and mixed with herbs, feta cheese, sliced olives and pepperoncini’s on the side is one of our clients favorite! Today we served them with a fresh salad bar and sweet potato fries. Our daily selection of homemade desserts include brownies, cookies, fresh turnovers and cakes.
